Isaiah Diggs, our Walk-on

I like this boy. He's got heart, drive and it seems a willingness to work as hard as possible. I can see him more as a RB than anything. Hope he gets a chance!

The video is pretty useless in regards to the interview… They obviously don't have a lav mic… But good highlights! The boy has wheels!

MiniMac Herron. One of my favorite players for a couple of sesaons in the NFL. 5-5 1/2 170.

I remember reading about him in the fall and thought he'd end up at a Big Sky school. You love the fact he contacted all those schools and is going work his butt off too. This kind of attitude and work ethic can be contagious.

Always root for kids like this, and he potentially could be a great punt returner / special teamer. My concern is that he doesn't look that fast to me. At his size, you need blazing speed or Wes Welker quickness to compensate.

True, it's hard to determine whom his opponents were in the video, so the perspective might be he's fast because he was beating out those on his highlights… but if his opponents were slower, it would make him look lightning fast. But I will say, when you google his name, he's known more for wrestling than football. He's won multiple awards in Wrestling so he's got to have good muscle mass… He's fast in his movement. But he loves football. He was also The Tribune's Male Athlete of the Year. You don't do that by just being good at Wrestling. I think this guy is a good addition to the roster. This is the kind of player that will push the others to excel because he's gunning for play time. And hard work ain't gonna hold him back. For someone that has to hire people out all the time, many times the younger generation, that's refreshing.

On a side note: Can I just say, I HATE the "millennial mentality"! They are starting to document that the attitude is, "Work doesn't define me. I'll go to work, put in my 8 hours and then HOME is where I'm defined." Which I am actually an advocate for!!! Work certainly doesn't define me. But what happens is, that seems to become an excuse for, " I don't have to work TOO hard at work, either." Don't let work define you. I get that. But you better work your ass off when you get there!
