Jayden de Victim

I hope the defense sees this

He'll stretch the field with the long ball. They have some excellent receivers. It appears their o-line is much improved too.

I expected to win this game a few weeks ago with room to spare. The line has us at -3.5 even with their upset of UCLA.

It's going to be a fun game to watch. I hope our d-line will knock him on his arse several times and shake him up. He'll want to make us pay for our "injustices."

Remember that “It’s personal” is Arizona’s team slogan this year.
That may be true but not what he was talking about. He referenced rolo and stutzman and their firing and how those two stuck with him. He made up his mind to quit before the bowl game. Just read an article he was in Tucson Dec on December 27. Be interesting if coaches talked to him or if they had an NIL intermediary.

Then he quit at halftime. He wasn't injured. He never tweaked an ankle or knee. he quit.

He may indeed light us up on Saturday. He has great receivers. But I would rather have a flawed Ward who loses that game than delaura who quit at halftime. The coaches knew what they had. and I do believe Dickert wanted to build around him.

Can't disagree with that sentiment. Extremely immature handling of the situation by JDL, and it was likely influenced by the early season limbo period that Rolo and the coaching staff were in. I have little doubt that Rolo torched Chun and WSU's handling of the issue throughout, which of course rubbed off on some of the players.

I'm sure it's personal for JDL. He read the message boards and knows how WSU fans and current teammates felt about the situation. Now he wants to light us up. Makes for good theatre. I hope we schedule them in late November next season for his WSU homecoming.

It might be "personal" for him, but I couldn't give a $hit less about his motivations. At the end of day, he quit on one team so he could go stuff dollar bills in his coconut bra and cry about disrespect.

The harsh reality is that he's simply not an NFL prospect. As such, the adults and grifters in his life had better enjoy the NIL money he received while they can...

just going off the way he speaks, I think there is something wrong with him mentally.
He’s delusional.

I hope the defense annihilates him on Saturday. Go Cougs. FJDL.

I get it, I wouldn't want to play for an AD that canned my coach over political favors. Weak. Still hope Cougs destroy them, but where he's coming from makes sense.

The Seahawks took care of former in-state starting QB Russell "Let's Ride" Wilson. Now, it's time for the Cougars to take care of another former in-state QB Jayden "It's Personal" de Laura.

The kid never learns to keep his mouth shut. He got off for the DUI and hope he gets what he has coming on Saturday. The players know what he said and Watson responded when asked just like Dickert.

Regardless, De Laura will come ready to play Saturday, and it should be a strong motivator for the Cougs too, who as we witnessed, "phoned in" the second half last week. Nothing gets the adrenaline flowing more than someone letting it be known that they are out to kick your arse. I hope some of it trickles down to Cam. Who, I for one, think he could play with a little more fire in his bell. Not full on Gesser by any means, but you can be too dispassionate, and he is approaching that.

“Arizona, which lost starting left tackle Jordan Morgan for the rest of the season due to a reported knee injury last week, will be trying to win consecutive games for the first time since early October 2019.”

If he plays anything like he did in the second half against ASU and for most of season for that matter, de Laura will absolutely light us up. Cam needs to pull his head out his azz or he should be benched in favor of Mateer.

It will be interesting to see how much "emotion" makes itself evident in this game. There's one player on the field for Arizona playing with a chip on his shoulder for personal reasons, and a helluva lot more playing for the Cougs with potential reasons to bring some extra attitude. I'm looking forward to this fame.

It was personal for abe and Ryan and beresford and Greene. That was their revolt .They quit before the game, and delaura got half the game in . It is no coincidence they were all offensive players and they may have quit earlier if they didn’t have personal interest in sticking around.

I will say JDL took a helmet to helmet hit late in the game . It would not surprise me if he isn’t concussed .

Wasn't Ryan out with an injury? Abe also did what other top NFL prospects do, not play to protect themselves. Beresford and Greene, sure. But, I would not put Ryan and Abe in the same sentence as those two.
