Former Cougar point guard came forward in light of the George Floyd incident to reveal conditions at his previous stop, Texas State. One of the headline stories on ESPN today. Hard to imagine coaches are going to get away with this type of behavior in the future:

There are a lot of things we don't know that are going on behind the scenes. I think it's good Shead brought his experiences to the table. Glad they were Texas State issues and not us!

Lewiston Tribune had more on the story as well.....and Shead also had critical comments for Cal Poly Coach Joe Calero, who he played for his freshman year, I think. Shead also mentioned Kyle Smith:

“Coach Smith is one of the most genuine human beings I’ve ever met. I could not have been happier with the short time I was at Wazzu and wish it could’ve lasted longer,” Shead wrote.

Joe Calero is from Enumclaw and went to Central Washington. Glad that Shead enjoyed his time at WSU. It was unfortunate he got injured early and missed so much of the season,
