I enjoyed JDL, his energy, and leadership. I have a question about the ball snap.
When the ball is snapped to him, he does some kind of repositioning ball flip after he receives it. Is that normal for qb's in the RPO?

He also tends to move backward before the snap

He does. Was called for it once. But kept doing it through the game. Though to a lesser degree.

Some of this was first game yips but his talent, leadership and will to win helped to overcome his early on bad habits. This will all be worked out. Excited to see what he can do against the Ducks tonight.

I am too. The last time I was this excited to see what out QB was going to do was likely Halliday’s first start (second game).

I was soundly in the “give JDL a couple years as back up” camp. That all changed last weekend.
