Definitely raw but like his effort. There is a sequence at about 40 second into the video where he goes after a loose ball around the elbow and ends up on the ground, immediately gets back up and returns inside, goes back out to defend a potential 3, back inside, then was able to get out and block a shot on a big from the free throw line, goes after the loose ball and ends up on the ground for a jump ball. Reminded me of Fred Ferguson.
WSU may be his first P5 offer but when it comes to recruiting Wichita State vs WSU and Gregg Marshall vs Bone or Kent does not bode well for WSU. Cleanthony Early ring a bell?
Unfortunately yes and good point. Really thought we had Early but we were probably a distant second.
It sounds like for whatever reason we weren't a good fit either for him or us. I tend to agree at this point. We need someone that can come in and make an impact and Sorn is at least a few years away. Gonzaga has also had some interest as a walk-on. I said this in another thread but if he wants to make a college decision he should pick the UW (or WSU). If he is making a basketball decision he should go St. Mary's. I just don't think the UW will invest a lot of time in him but could be wrong.
As long as the other WSU doesn’t offer. The article ElC referred to said they were interested.
