He is a 6'2 PG from Otero Jr College in Colorado.. He is visiting the cougs this week. I see a commit from this guy. Still waiting on 6'6 Marvin Cannon , it looks like its between the cougs and VCU. Is the big man going to be Javan White a grad from Oral Roberts.?

Jervae Robinson is a pass first type of point guard. This approach may be a better fit. If your pg is shooting and missing,it will disrupt the whole offense.

No one can argue that point. However a PG who looks for the pass first is very popular with his teammates. If he does shoot well when the offense bogs down, then the team is harder to defend.A good PG energizes and leads his/her team.

I know it seems obvious, but a lot of pass first pgs are that way for a reason. I watched the pg from Whitworth last winter. Faster, better ball handler, and better defender than Flynn, but no threat at all from 3 point land.

I agree but someone like Flynn tended to look for his shot first. I prefer a PG who looks for his teammates first but can also shoot. When Flynn s shot was off,the cougs offense looked anemic.

I also believe that Robinson commits this Friday. Marvin Cannon also is probably down to VCU and the cougs. I rate the cougs the favorite in that race. Robinson also shot 39 % from 3 pt land. i Hope that he is also a good defensive player.

Flynn was an odd one. The kid was a real gamer in crunch time, but made some horrible decisions in the first 30 minutes. Especially his shot selection

I like the guy and he did maximize his athletic abilities. But now that he turned his back then" don t let the door hit you in the butt as you leave." He had the right to do what he did and he left for "greener pastures" but i will not miss his play. Flynn did what he felt was best for himself but i do not think he will find what he seeks.

Sounds like he committed today.

Looks like Kent has put together a really solid class so far. Now if we can get Cannon to sign and Franks returns for his senior year we might have a really good team next year.

Doesn't sound like much chance Franks returns, but hope I am wrong. I do think Acquaah steps up his game next season. We really need Chidum to make big strides too. Less optimistic about him, but not totally negative either.

I was wondering about Franks. I do not see him as being drafted and he may well want to reconsider. I am sure that if he gets an honest assessment that he will be told to keep working on his game.I am optimistic about Chidum, but it depends on how hard he works in the off season. He has a good skill set and really tries on defense. He just needs to get stronger so he can play more aggressively.
