.. a 6'1 170 pd Guard from Phoenix Arizona who was oferred by the cougs. He is also rated as a 2 star recruit.He has also been offered by Fresno State,Boise St and Dayton

247 Sports list him at 5'10-165. This looks like it is correct. They also list him as a 4 star prospect with another offer from Grand Canyon.

I like his game and he is a very good HS PG. The only PG i like more, whom is being recruited by the cougs, is 6'4 Marcus Tsohonis from Oregon. His top three right now are WSU,USC, and ASU. But both OSU and Oregon are sniffing around and may offer the three star PG.. The competition will be tough for the HS players currently being recruited by the coaching staff.One hopes that the staff has established a strong relationship with these players as other higher ranked schools get involved.

Dan Majarle is a very good recruiter, They have perhaps the best home town crowd in the USA. GCU s hometown games are always sold out and he is practically a hometown guy.Really no big surprise in his pick.

GCU is an up and coming school that gets as much local pub as ASU. They seem to have a goal of becoming a GU or Butler type of mid major. Any kid in Arizona will take a hard look at them with the very popular Majarle as coach

EK is probably going all in on Marcus Tsohonis from Oregon. Plan B will be a 2* JC from Whatever JC.

The cougs are/were recruiting 5'11 Pierre Cockrell from Garfield. Texas Tech and Houston are still going after him. They have also offered 6'0 Scotty Pippen Jr. There does not seem to be any D 1 competition for his signature. I think that he is a D 1 player but he would have to sit a year or play backup in Pullman. H e thinks that he will be a better player than his father..

Maybe Pippen, Jr has a growth spurt but while a solid talent I don't think he's nowhere near pops at this point.

Tsohonis looks like the get at PG but I think we should be pretty happy if we get Cockrell. He is pretty small and when I looked at highlights I honestly wondered whether he translated to Pac 12. Then I saw that Houston offered and that helped. Sampson knew how to recruit guards to WSU and I really liked Houston's guards in the Tournament last year. Thought they were exactly the type we need in Pullman. Plus if we can hold onto Elleby, Kunc, and Cannon translates then overall length isn't really an issue.

Anyway, until we get a verbal it's meaningless.
