What a terrible disappointment. I have said that the coaching sucked and a few posters have leaped to her defense. That is going to be hard to do now.The team has been very bad and excuses running out this early in the season.

This team's regression is impossible to ignore. Maybe she'll turn it around, but right now the clock appears to be ticking.
I remember and Daugherty has improved the program dramatically. They haven't looked like they have a lot of energy so far. I think a lot of their play relates to Molina. When she gets back to full speed they will be hard to beat.
The team was without Molina last year and they did well Perhaps there are problems with teamwork? I would hope that JD gets things straightened out and the team improves She will be the coach for a few more years and the talent is there to play much better.
I’m with you on the disappointment and the letting your game do the talking. They have at least played a tough schedule so we can hope that pays dividends latter in the season. UC Davis is still undefeated, they lost to #25 Kentucky in a close game, ST Mary’s has only one loss and that was to a ranked CAL team, and 17th ranked South Florida had crushed everybody prior To and including WSU until they played #6 Notre Dame. Every team they have lost to will be playing post season basketball. With that being said they should have won at least 2 of those games especially if your going to go on the record as being a PAC 12 contender.
That’s the unfortunate rallying cry for many Cougar fans.
“We may suck now, but remember how bad we used to suck? Better not make a move, or we might suck. Like we suck now, or even worse.”
I don’t think the team sucks, but I know June isn’t a good “coach.” Good recruiter, great person, but she doesn’t have an offensive or defensive system. Never has.
I hope this team improves. The talent is good but the coaching has been less than superb to say the least.Women s and Bone Ball are reminders of how bad it can get.
