His best policy may have been to sign the airline deregulation act, making air travel accessible to tens of millions more people through airlines operating in a free market in the US... and it spread throughout the world.

Of course, many of us hate the airlines these days because we sit with our knees shoved against our faces. But hey, this is what happens when most look at price first...

Yes, he was. To me the greatest compliment you can ever give a guy is to say that he is (was) a good man. Jimmy Carter was a good man!
