According to his Twitter account, Washington State head coach Ernie Kent is in New York this week as Dick Vitale is honored by the National Basketball Coaches Association.

Kent has been involved with the NABC for quite awhile and served as the president during the 2011-12 season. He's currently the associate executive director of the NABC.

Here's a few pictures of his trip thus far...

Kent with Coach John Calipari and ESPN's John Saunders... He prefaced this picture by saying he's hoping to get a game in Pullman with Kentucky. I'm unable to confirm whether he was serious or not.

Here's Kent doing something. He added this comment to this picture... "Hey, Coug fans. One day we ARE GOING to win a Pac-12 Championship. You can BANK on it." Such a clever one, that Coach Kent.

Oh my God ... did Moos strike it rich with Kent, or what?

They're going to "do it again", just like they did at Oregon, but without any interference and a President who will be giddy as a school girl every step of the way.

LOL.

Kent is so like-able (except when he was an opposing coach on the sidelines, of course). I hope he can get it done with recruiting/coaching at WSU and enjoy his second chance.

it would be interesting to see a shared vision from Kent, Moos and Floyd what this BB program will look like 5,7, 10 years from now. Supposing Klay and Aron stay in the NBA over the next 5+ years as well...
