My guess heads to Boise State and gets moved back to guard . I think moving to tackle hurt him and maybe the team .
He was by far our best OL. Thought he held up pretty well at LT. Probably not a tackle at the next level but he's worth a look because he can play multiple spots.

I have it from the horses mouth Beresford left for bigger pastures . Bigger meaning not small town where all his friends just graduated .
But I would guess there is more going on and what is going on they aren’t Rolo and his staff . I am pretty sure Abe’s family don’t believe in the vaccine . I think the offense was miffed by letting Rolo go and their protest was to leave .
Beresford also left so he could play with his younger brother who wsu didn’t offer a scholie . Do I believe he left because of Rolo . I think part of the reason .
However , beresford split time under Rolo . His family believes he is nfl … and if you are splitting time as a junior maybe you are in the wrong place .
Keep in mind Beresford and Kingston were recruited by McGuire . So did McGuire change ?
Finally I have a good friend in Pullman and I think there are those who share his mindset and opinion . He was the biggest wsu supporter .
When Rolo got canned he shut it down . No more season tickets etc, and he views dickert tied to the hip of chun, and that he is an opportunist . Almost like he led the revolt .
Dickert took an offense in the run and shoot that did not have a long list of coaches that knew how to coach it and put in more of a main stream offense that can be replicated .
Mike leach was asked why he is his own oc. Said because when there is a coaching change he doesn’t need to find a new coordinator that is on the same page .
Rankich...arguably our biggest donor no longer gives $$$. Couple local farmers who were big boosters no longer give. Attendance was down as well.
Yep I imagine there are those who dropped out. Maybe we should just hire rolo back, and get delaura back and that will fix our problems.

Ricky Austin one of the highest rated olineman to come in the school and started left after his freshman year. The last one who left that day was Daryl Jones. Started every game and almost every snap at DT in place of Leon who had to go to JC that year.

It's not over for us...but it's important for Dickert and Chun to change the direction of the program. These OC and DC hires are an opportunity to get some excitement back.
They need to hire guys that can coach kids up fast. The days of developing for 2 years and then playing for 2 years are over. Kids will have left by then.

Off topic...buy why isn't Gabe Marks an assistant wr coach or a recruiting coach for WSU. What an asset he would be. After watching the eulogy he did at Mike Leach's funeral he is exactly the type of coach needed at WSU. African American kid raised in inner city LA, incredibly well spoken, driven and smart, all time leader in receiving yards in Pac 12, passionate about WSU, air raid expert....he can relate to hs kids better than anyone we have on staff.

No question six months of choices over took peoples support of the Cougs . Kinda view that as their problem . They have the right to spend the money the way the want and if following a program for 20 plus years is replaced by their feelings either for Rolo and or mandates then so be it . Sorry it went down that way but I know how I feel doesn’t change and there will be other donors who eventually step up.
I think our defense was good at times this year, but didn't play as good as I expected them to play. DL was disappointing to me. Offense was very disappointing to me. Just inconsistent. Watson played well at rb...Ward ran it well, OL got worse as year went on...they held their own vs Wisconsin and Oregon, but got dominated by Fresno. That confuses me. Wrs weren't coached up at all. Ferrell did well, but that was just from familiarity.
Shock … not sure how long you have followed wsu football but give me thoughts on a time where wsu lost 4 out of five olineman, two of their best receivers , their qb, both linebackers and 3/5’s of their secondary and had a winning season . And add that to the teams they lost to we’re all top 15 teams . Maybe I just don’t have the recall I once did but I don’t think I can pick a season.

The amount of people that thought Rolovich was cut out to coach at WSU and defend him as such is baffling to me. As I've said earlier, it took me 4 games to watch the 8 previous years of the foundation to come crumbling down.
Abe Lucas was interviewed about Mike Leach's passing and I shook my head, the guy hated Leach. You could see it on his face, and delivered classic PR dialogue. Maybe he thought Leach felt he was a fake tough guy.

They didn't really have a choice but to can him since it was a state mandate. If they want to hurt WSU because of a state mandate that's their prerogative I guess.

Great question. So when I ask you to donate 250k to NIL and you tell me you don't have it, where is your accountability. Why the excuse? WSU is a product of their support. Period end of story. Ask people in the biz and they viewed .500 Dennis Erickson as a saint, just as we did. Jake Dickert has the same winning percentage as Dennis after two years.
People in the biz viewed Price and Walden the same why. Did more with less.
