I think he was a top 15 paid coach at ~$4M/year? Sounds like Utah fans were okay with the move.

Hasn’t been to the tournament in 5 years and was collecting a big check. I was surprised too at first because how much they dominated us but looking at the his W/L record it wasn’t great for what he was getting paid.

His record wasn't good the last two years. Shows you what the selection committee thinks of the P12. He had three straight years with 11-7 conference records and didn't make the tournament. Heck, he didn't even make the NIT two years ago. Some of the fans may still even think of themselves of the program that made it to the finals in the 97-98 season.

There also was a recruiting violation that included a 2-game suspension this year for Krystkowiak and a removal of the coach in waiting for an assistant.

For comparison, Scott Servais in his 6th year as Mariners manager and coaching 162 games and about 25 exhibition games a season gets $800,000 per year.
