I prefer MacLean when it's a Cougar game but I'm a Walton fan.

Jakimovski doing a nice job shooting and helping with the press. I'm not sure how much we can play Roberts and Flowers together with their length.
The drought bugaboo again.....about an 8 minute stretch without a field goal. Can't do that against any team, much less the Bruins. It's going to take the best half of the season for the Cougs to pull this one out.

It may be at bit unfair on my part since he has had some great shooting nights but I'm not bothered by Flowers being a departing senior. Too many mistakes and he really isn't able to get them into any type of offense. Roberts may dribble too much but he makes far fewer bad passes and mistakes. As I've said since early in the year I don't like having both of them on the floor at the same time.
Yes- as a true Coug, I have been flipping back and forth.
UVA managed 13 points in the first half. I know everyone thinks that TB is bulletproof based on their National Championship, but this is just sad. So far in the second half I don't know if I've ever seen a team go so deep in the play clock to launch an airball. I can't believe recruits are drooling over the prospect of being a part of that...

Statistically, Flowers is 9th in the conference in assists/turnover ratio at 2.0 (6th among guards) while Roberts is 38th in the conference with a ration of 1.3. I actually think Flowers has been a good player for the Cougs. He certainly had a bad night tonight, though. I"m hoping Bamba can play a much bigger role next year.
