Kinda thought he would stick in the NFL, we've been turning out decent OL lately.

In other news, Easop Winston appears to have made the team. He's listed as 5th on a very deep WR corp, some are saying the best Seattle has ever had.

Liam still has a shot to make the practice squad, especially with his diversity to play multiple positions.

Winston has been doing great. Just making plays. Happy for him.

I don't think Ryan isn't athletic or mobile enough to fit with what the Hawks like to do. They like guys like Abe that are really good on their feet, strong, and can compete against really big, FAST, defensive lineman.

I’m rooting hard for Armani Marsh. WSU Walk on, not drafted, had to try out for multiple teams to get a free agent contract. Would be quite the story on perseverance and hard work if he made the Titans 53 man or practice squad.

Easop isn't flashy but he runs great routes and have top notch hands. The NFL will obsess over some guy who runs the 40 .1 second faster and salivate over what a great player he would be if he could just learn to run better routes and wouldn't drop so many passes in traffic.

Yet we have guys like Wes Welker every damn year that run 4.6 40s and all they do is get open and catch everything in sight.

It’s easy to misjudge talent when the next level is so much more challenging but it seems like half the NFL GMs and coaches can’t get out of their own way. How TF is Richardson starting over Minshew?

You can't convince me that a good majority of it is confirmation bias from a circle of talking heads and egotistical megalomaniacs.

"Well, I invested in this person through my words and actions, so dammit he's going to be our franchise player whether he has the talent or not." This is especially true at the QB position; all you have to do is go through the last 20 years of highly touted college qb's who not only didn't succeed but fell well short of any expectation of them. Tre Lance is coming to mind right now. And the crazy thing is that people going out on a limb for him makes zero sense - he's completely unproven and totally raw, yet FOMO and the utter desperation to find the next "it" drove Lynch and the 9ers to sell the farm to get him. Insane.

And the weird thing is that even after they sell out their future to get him, they didn’t spend much time before they cut bait and dump him for essentially nothing. They’ve basically traded 3 1st rounders for a 1st & 4th…after 9 games….and replaced him with another former first rounder who’s already flamed out with a couple teams.

And the Niners are getting praised for doing so (dumping him) because they are essentially admitting it was a mistake.

The Niners actually have one of the better front offices too IMO. You want to talk QBs think about the Browns! The Broncos are trying to replicate their level of ****ery with that position but I’m pretty sure Payton will figure it out even if it means benching and eventually cutting RW.

The economics force them to get rid of him, and their jackpot pick of Purdy allow them to do it. They lucked into the ability to move Lance. But they still traded a couple of 1’s for a 4.

If they can get along with each other, Payton & RW could do well together. But i think that’s a very big “if.”
