Anybody know the name of our play by play announcer on the stream? He's the main guy for baseball, when Matt Chaz isn't scheduled.

To a 9-16 team.
Big test is on Friday and this weekend. UCLA is # 12. They've only lost 6 games.
Maybe last year Derek filled in, but it's not Derek Deis. This guy, who was also around last year.....almost never says his name. Perhaps only at the beginning and the end of the broadcast.
Why do I ask? I like he's style a lot.
Not to mention that Linfield is a D-III program. It's normally a very good program, or at least was when Scott Brosius was head coach, but 9-16 is not a typical Linfield record at any point in the season.
The fortunes of WSU baseball of late are my fault. After the hot start and the series win in Corvallis, I dared to look at the dates of the College World Series. Omaha is only 5 hours away from me. That was stupid and I know better, but all I wanted to do was make sure I was available to attend the CWS in the event a miracle would take place and the Cougars would be there. Just that one seemingly tiny and innocent act on my part has angered the Baseball Gods and the team has paid the price. It won't happen again.

How dare you sir!! You are jeopardizing the future of this program! Aaron Sele, John Olerud and Scott Hatteberg do not approve! But seriously, after the series win against OSU, I thought to myself, we have a legit chance to do something huge this year. The season is fairly young still but hopefully we can find some consistency in our pitching and stop giving up 5-9 run innings.
