While not prime time, every bar East of the Rockies from 10PM - 2AM will be televising live college football games on Saturday nights. All of the diehard football fans East of the Rockies will still be watching late night football games out West after their teams games have ended.

The West coast offers a time slot that the other regions can’t. That’s worth something.
 
7:30p PT games suck, especially on ESPN.

I know it could help save the conference, but they're dogs**t timeslots.

Oh, is ESPN going to upgrade their truck equipment and cameras from 1991 too? Probably not. They'll put the good ones in the SEC.
