UW lost their leading tackler & young pup LB Jackson Sirmon to Cal.

Big time loss on that defense for years to come.

With dad’s buddy Lake gone, he left to go play for dad & his other buddy Wilcox.

They lost a few key players on both sides of the ball, and had some decommits in their recruiting class. DeBoer has a lot of work to do pulling everything back together. UW always seems to get a decent recruiting class regardless of what is going on, so time will tell, but Lake cost them a few years.

Lake set them back to a 6-6 7-5 ish situation. But with Penix and appropriate coaching they could win more instantly.
