It’s early, but I think we made a great coaching hire. This team plays hard and is incredibly cohesive. Not enough size to work any miracles this season, but it’s refreshing to see the program compete like this.

The team fights. We can't shoot to save our lives but credit to Smith for figuring a way to work the ball inside for high percentage buckets in the second half.
Lots of positives on this team. We draw charges, get our hands on the ball, contest shots, and come down with more rebounds than we have any business getting. How Miller was able to get 11 and 6 today is beyond me.
Oh, and Marvin Cannon and Jalen Shead are hurt and not playing much.
There’s actually a plan. And it’s been implemented incredibly quickly. Give Smith some time to sharpen the sword and find some key pieces and this is gonna be a competitive basketball team.
Great win today for the players. Hopefully it will generate more interest and it can’t hurt recruiting.
