Pretty listless performance in the first half - in every aspect of the game. Gave up 11 ORB's in the first half to a vastly inferior team. Having Wade out certainly didn't help. Hopefully he is back in time for the NMSU game.

Really impressed with Cannon, especially if he can continue to shoot the ball so well - didn't know that was part of his game. He and Elleby could be a nice pair of defenders. I've still yet to see Elleby make a faceup jumper, maybe it will come because he looks real good shooting free throws.

I jokingly said earlier what the over under was on Elleby making a face up jumper before Christmas. I agree though, he has nice form on his free throws. Also his dad had a nice jumper. Maybe he will develop a little better than his mechanics suggest.

Ellerby was a good shooter in high school. Hopefully as the offensive game slows down for him his shooting will improve.

Hoping for a quick return to the lineup for Wade. Kent said a couple of games which hopefully included Delaware State.

Could be wrong but I believe Cannon's recruitment started to pick up when his 3s started to drop last year. I wonder whether Wade can handle well enough to penetrate and get to the basket with his athleticism. It will be interesting to see how he comes along. We actually seem to have 3 or 4 players that appear to have the quicks and/or athleticism to defend. Hope we use it.

Didnt really get an impression on Cannon. Dudnt esee the DState gane, sndhe didn5 get many minutes in the opener.

His athleticism is impressive. He scored well in big games last year as his shooting percentage went up.He showed well on defense all year in the juco ranks. Wade is a bit undersized so it would help if he can make quick solid moves to the basket

Wade seemed really quick and explosive around the basket to me. That is what first caught my eye with him.

Wade seems to have some potential shooting range as well. Probably not the 3s he was taking in a game at this point but maybe in time.

I like both Wade and Cannon. I thought Cannon would be more down the road but he looked good the last game, if that continues his minutes should continue to go up. Both under sized but athletic. We have used worse than this and made it work.
