On Flynn, comparing him to Ridnour/Brooks is a bit crazy as a lightly recruited freshman. I would go Taylor Rotchestie, which is pretty high 'accolades' as well. Key for Flynn, he needs to be a point guard rather than a a second or even third offensive option.
What is obviously a huge problem is Flynn is just one guy and because he looks like he can actually compete in the PAC 12 we get excited. Obviously you need a lot more than 1 guy to get it done. That leads to Hawkinson trying to do too much because he's by far our best option. Hawkinson is a lot like Motum who also had to carry too much load. Both are good to really good complimentary or second options. Kent needs to pull a rabbit out of his bag of tricks and bring in a legit go to guy. I don't think either of the jcs they signed are that guy.
Acquaah was a better get than Flynn on paper so next year that should only help but it's a shame he can't play this year with 2 open spots left. Daniel did look solid so let's see how that carries through to Creighton. If Daniels can be a decent rotation guy and Hinton can give you at least King level production they might have something in the backcourt. Front court doesn't look too promising at this point. They need to a ready made 4 in the spring.
