MBK Final: Stanford 88, Cougs 62 (Stats)

Not making any excuses as Stanford is really good this year and probably would've blown out WSU under any conditions, but no Tony Miller, no Marvin Cannon, no Jaylen Shead makes for a very thin group. Opponents know that smothering Elleby makes it tough for the Cougs to do much on offense. One silver lining from last night: extended minutes for Williams, Rapp, Markovitskyy, and even a Daron Henson sighting.

I wasn’t able to watch yesterday. How did Markovitskyy look?

The more the freshmen can play the better. Williams took some wild shot but his outside shot continues to look better the more he plays. I have noticed Rapp has had trouble working out of a trap. Both Williams and Rapp have a lot of confidence and want the ball. Good signs.

Didn't get to watch either. I live in another time zone and don't get the Pac-12 network. When I get the chance, I listen to the radio broadcast but that's not the same.

they came out smoking and simply over powered us in the paint, dunks and lay ins all night
