Tough start game-wise, but pretty nice student attendance-wise. First three on the road away from the desolate wasteland that is Pullman from Mid-Dec to Mid-Jan.
And keeps us away from having to pander to Spokane for a game with attendance. (Had to throw that in

Schedule frigging EWU or Idaho in the Arena. This will be a mausoleum atmosphere.
Hey, you come up here now. Sure, the bums are still eating pigeons under I-90, but we are ON THE MOVE. Well, everybody tells me so. Lots of new shiny buildings and shiny transplants, etc. Do you dig bike lanes? WE HAVE BIKE LANES NOW. And according to Zillow, my house went up in value $8K last month. RISING TIDE FLOATS ALL BOATS!
We soon will be the most happening place between North Bend and Minneapolis. It's like a gold rush, but less of a sausage fest in that regard.
Seriously though, I like NCW's idea. But I'd make it a triple-header and add Montana & Montana State. Book it on a Saturday after a Friday night Def Leppard/Styx/Tesla concert at Northern Quest. Or perhaps one of those pseudo contry western singers/groups. Anyway, it would be INSANE.
Ok, I gotta go; need to prep the travel trailer for a long weekend at Sun Meadow. Sun screen, WOO-WEE!
Would be fun, although I'm not sure UI or BSU would agree to move their in-state "rivalry" across the border.
The only down side for Spokane Cougs: Hearing and reading the condescending insinuations from smarmy GU fans that WSU needed to schedule a doubleheader in order to fill the Coliseum.
