Nice victory by the men 68-65. Gueye had 18 points and 12 rebounds. Four of the five starters had double digit scoring, and Rodman had 9. They are in 7th place with an 8-9 conference record. They finish up with 10th place Stanford, last place Cal, and 8th place uw. Unfortunately, all three games are on the road. I think if Abe had stayed and Dishon were healthy all year, this team makes the NCAA's. But he didn't, he wasn't, and they won't.

Great game today. Stanford is playing very well now, so that’s going to be a tough game on Thursday.

To put things in perspective, WSU could finish 15-17, 16-16, and 10-10,11-9, in conference after, despite such a disasterous INJURY wise season.

To do that all they would have to do is beat Stanford, Cal, and win 1 PAC 12 tourny game if lose to UW.

That's certainly doable, semi likely.

To put that into perspective, only 3 coaches in more modern WSU history have had a 500 or better conference record.

Raveling, Sampson, Tony Bennet.

So even in a INJURY RIDDLED season, WSU/Smith will have a equal or better conference record then Kelvin Sampson, IF IF WSU beats at least Stanford, CAL, and at least wins 1 PAC 12 tourny wins if lose to UW, or beats UW, if doesn't win a PAC 12 tourny game.

And that's despite having the 5th toughest schedule in the nation, according to Ken POM, and being the 3rd most UNLUCKIEST team according to Ken Pom, and DESPITE the injuries.

If it were not for the injuries, and unlucky breaks in close games, WSU could, would, should have been about a 19,20,21 regular season wins, and about 12-8,13-7 in conference, and a NCAA bubble team that would have probably been the tied for 3rd or 4th PAC 12 team that would have bubble popped into NCAA tourny as a 12th, 13th seed

Also Ken Pom says WSU is the best team in Nation of it's win loss record.

So because of that WSU, SMITH, SEASON gets a GIANT ASTERISK, gets a write off because there were LEGIT reasons, and because WSU, Smith, is doing as good as Kelvin Sampson's BEST conference record finish, DESPITE injuries, 5th toughest schedule, unluckiness, etc.

That puts things into perspective.
