Mid season firing

Firing Ernie today would mean writing him a check for about $5 million. Not going to happen. Most likely he's back next year and if things don't improve maybe Chun could negotiate a retirement settlement.

Based on what? Ernie has all the leverage. Moos rat-f*cked WSU by contractually handcuffing the school to his buddy Ernie.

Unless he gets caught fondling himself on the bench during a game or naked pics with CEK and farm animals are found, Ernie is getting every single dime he's owed and he'll leave when he wants to.

That is it in a nutshell I rather support the guy and hope all works out well. But i do have more optimism than most of the posters here.

I'm not going to openly hope for losses - but that doesn't mean I don't have a calendar marking down the days until Ernie is gone. The fact is win or lose, Ernie has x number of days until his time in Pullman is done. He is the highest paid babysitter in the country.

And you want the babysitter to take good care of the kids until the adult comes home.
