Minshew - Foles...88 million reasons why Foles plays

Jags are paying him a 4 year, 88M contract. They won't sit him for that kind of cash. They will sit him if he struggles and likely blame injury on that.

Foles is instant trade bait and the Jags would be foolish to not allow this to happen. Fans in Jacksonville love Minshew. In my opinion, they will build a team around him.

My bet on how this plays out.

• Foles plays out. Or if he sits, it's "injury" related.
• If he does decent, or if he's hampered due to injury, Jags can l trade him in the off-season for picks. Free up a ton of cap space.
• With this, they can put talent and a o-line around the mustache.

I also think they should move their offense to the Air Raid. Minshew can run it. Get some depth at WR.

As much as I like GM and how well he's doing, he's still a rook.

There is no way that Foles gets Bledsoe'd.

Unfortunately, the Jags offense overall is garbage, and it starts with the OL, so it really doesn't matter if you stick Tom Brady under center they are still going to lose more than they win.

While we're on the subject - that defense isn't anything to write home about either.

Thinking the same thing. It was not a freaky deal that he got hurt the first time and it is predictable that he will popped once he takes over. Minshew masked many of their issues in the games he played well.
