Love that guy even more...its been said on here before; I really hope some of the other QBs have soaked up what the mustache man has to offer
Rivalry pride aside, I wish we could have won the AC if only to keep him in the spotlight longer and get him more looks for the pros, and higher visibility should he choose to return to college as a coach. I know any scout worth his salt will have GMII in his crosshairs, but the reality is, the landscape is pretty big for coaches and talent evaluators and he would have gotten more/longer looks if he didn't get knocked off the pedestal.
I think he'll land on his feet - just wish he could have spent December in the spotlight basking in Heisman buzz instead of the "I told you they're overrated" milieu. He's a great decisionmaker on the field and I think he would even be successful in Pro Style.

As long as Minshew has a good game against ISU, he'll be fine. To some degree, if WSU can run up 40 points on Iowa State and a few teams ahead of us struggle, he could end up looking better at the end of the day. If WSU thumps the Cyclones and schools like Penn State, LSU and Florida struggle, there will be a national conversation about the inequities of college football (for a minute anyway). Minshew could end up looking the great guy who got snubbed and get more respect as a result.
