Moos

I'm betting pressure is on him due to Scott Frost and the lack of success on the football field.

Moos, just like at Oregon and WSU, is stubborn with his hires, even if they don't go right (Ernie Kent?).

Feels a lot like that on the surface.

I'd welcome him back to WSU in some capacity. He's a Coug and loves WSU. He did a lot for us and if he can help with things like fund raising, etc., bring him BACK HOME!

I don't have anything against him, and think he did a much better job at WSU than a lot of other people. But I have no interest in seeing him employed at WSU again.

I doubt you will see him directly employed by WSU....ever. I truly feel like this is his swan song. End on his terms. Not being forced out or fired.

Wasn’t the Frost hire a forgone conclusion before he went there? Maybe not. I tend to not pay much attention to the hirings and firings outside of the Pac-12. I seem to remember it was what the donors demanded of the school.

Frost was going to Nebraska regardless of who the AD was...Bill helped move that along, I'm sure, but it helps when Tom Osborne is calling your name too.

Everything I've read is Nebraska is excited about Hoiberg (sounds like recruiting is top notch) and Moos nailed the baseball hire.

Moos and Floyd saved WSU athletics. They had to spend that money to catch up of many, many, many years of neglect. I'll be thankful to Bill for that...warts and all. And yes, he had plenty of warts here.

Frost was the hiring of Moos but the alums wanted him badly. It seems like that was tee'd up early on.

I'm guessing the same fickle few who wanted Frost, who've planted millions into their new facilities, are getting impatient and want to spend cash on a homerun type of hire.
