“Three Hours After The Pac12 Announcement Of Starting Their 6 Game Season Nov. 6th, The Mountain West Announced Their 8 Game Season October 24th”

And This.......

Seriously ridiculous the Pac-12 can’t get up and game ready by Oct 24 Administrators making decisions about football. They should stick to academics

I’ve seen a six game season referenced a few times here. Everything I’ve seen has referenced a seven game season.

Using us as an example, and assuming that we don’t make the PAC 12 championship game. Our schedule would look as follows:

* 5 north division games

* 1 south division game

* 1 additional south division game the week of the PAC 12 championship.

Do I have this wrong?

Everyone will play week 7 regardless if you’re in the championship game. Probably 2 north vs 2 south etc. Great way to minimize the value of the championship game. (Sarcasm)

When does the SEC/ACC schedule end? It actually, might be better for TV and exposure....who knows.

Not sure why any of you are surprised by this. We're talking about some of the most liberal schools in the most liberal states who were balking at the restart. Stanford, Cal, UW, UCLA.

The 7 game schedule doesn't bother me due to the late season start. Hell, the season isn't going to be completed until December 18th, one week before Christmas. How many more games were they going to squeeze in AND allow the programs amble time to prepare for week 1?

WSU will play everyone in the P12N. Cal, Stanford, Oregon, OSU, and UW plus one opponent from the South. That sounds OK to me. One thing I am keeping my eye on regarding the schedule is if the league is going to cheese us out of home games late in the schedule so we don't have a cold weather advantage. Screw that. I want to see Cal and UW and Oregon in Pullman in 20 degree weather.

Lastly, who gives a rats arse about what the MWC does? Are you really concerned about them playing an extra game? No offense to the programs in the league, as I like that conference, but how many viewers are going to tune in to watch San Jose St vs. Wyoming or New Mexico vs. UNLV in mid-December?

So like a Sunday 5pm consolation AAU game in Yakima where it’s 50/50 the other team shows up.
