No, but the writing on the wall is darkening. It feels like a certainty now. The B!G is in a leverage drivers seat position. Offer UW, Oregon, Stanford, and Cal entrance at a heavily discounted (50%) share, which will still be more than what the Pac/Apple deal is.
My biggest concern now is if the MWC will expand to allow us and Oregon State to join. Wouldn't that be a twist if they said no?
If the Big 10 gets uw, Oregon, Cal and Stanford (reports say there are some kind of preliminary discussions happening) what's left?

Reports are now that wsu is being consider for 16th spot in Big12. Arizona ASU WSU, UU market already taken with BYU so we may get a lifeline

If the Pac-12 implodes, Cougs and Beavs need to quickly assess can they bring in 10 of the top G5 schools to start a new league or create Pac-12 2.0.
It has been suggested that some of the bowl agreements, etc. are tyed to the Pac-12 in theory their is value in the conference.
The media payout would be less, but it would be more than the MWC so teams would leave. You have a problem scheduling for next season, and would need some quick action to get that sorted out.

Speaking bowl agreements, how cool is it going to be when the Rose Bowl is B10/ SEC because the entire LA market left the P12?
Honestly, should this whole thing go to hell in a handbasket, that will be the thing that I will miss the most. Lets be honest - our chances for a NC is practically nil, but we always had the Rose Bowl to strive for. Now what... hope to get ranked and go to the cotton bowl? Or the Kommunist Kimmel LA Bowl? 🤮🤮🤮
UNLV Rebel fan here. Most of us MWC fans see OSU and Wazzu being a part of the conference if all hell breaks after tomorrow nights Arizona Board of Regents meeting and they take the B12 offer. We see ASU and Utah going with them. The Big10 we all know will more than likely take WA, OU, Cal, and Stanford.
As for the MWC expanding to take Wazzu and OSU I would think it will all depend on our media partners and if they are willing to give up more money. If they don't substantially increase the media payouts then the MWC could very well hold up on any expansion. You all know that this year's MWC payout was just a tad over $6 million and if two schools get added and dilute the annual payout I don't see any offers going out to any remaining Pac12 schools. I hope if it comes to where you need a home I hope the MWC can work it out and give an invite.

FWIW, WSU has had enough TV eyeballs in the past 10 years to justify the media companies paying out more money. They might not, but that has everything to do with profiteering and taking advantage of the situation and nothing to do with media value. Based on TV ratings in the past 10 years, WSU should raise the payout available...but again, the whole situation is BS.
