Here is my assessment- When it's 4th down and you are about to go out of bounds or get tackled right before you do, you MUST throw the frikken ball!!! You MUST give one of your receivers to make a play, or possibly get a PI call on the defense. That is your only chance to maintain possession, because running OB or getting tackled is a sure turnover, whereas throwing the ball at least gives your team a chance. Getting real tired of watching him do that!

I think what’s certain is that we’ve identified Ward’s ceiling. He is what he is, and he’s not getting better. He’s just a QB. Not a great, not even a particularly good. Just another QB.

Yeah I think the issue is even when he has time he still just stands there too long or cant identify the open man. This week pass pro held up much better it seemed anyway.

I said this last week, it will be fascinating to see what happens. Right now my guess would be he’s a 6th or 7th. At the least he will get a chance as a FA. Someone will like his raw skills and think they can coach him up but he is a PROJECT and his draft stock has to have tumbled over the last month.

You can do worse on a late round flyer but he’s just not getting it and I don’t see this version of him sticking as a pro. Seems like his better option would be to stay and see if he can take another step forward
