Really?

I haven’t seen very many games that were this lopsided, forget about championship games. Most NC losers can take some solace in the fact that they made it. A score like this makes even that difficult, because it shows you didn’t belong there.

What was the O/U? I figured U would be the sure bet with how many points were scored last week. TCU came through for me!

I went to the gym instead of watching it live, thinking I would watch it on DVR later. My brother called me and said, "don't bother, it's halftime and it's a blowout".

Got home, and didn't expect to see 65-7.

Geez. Feel sorry for the embarrassed TCU fans in the stadium. They probably enjoyed the venue and their National Championship Game sweatshirt more than anything.

I'm over the moon of course but there was a point at 31-7 where it was clear they weren't coming back. As a fan you couldn't have drawn up a more dominating performance, and yet it felt weirdly unsatisfying for it to not even be a contest like Ohio State was. I wasn't rooting for TCU (obvi) but would have done if I went anywhere else. Feels like trying to build a business with elbow grease and long hours, and then you win the lottery on a scratcher anyway... not quite as satisfying.

I'm ok being scratcher rich.
