With Coley scheduled to commit tomorrow, I'm guessing it's a QB. Considering we offered Ward last weekend I'm guessing it's him.

He's a 16 year old QB who has impressed Greg Biggens. Other offers are Oregon St, Idaho, and Eastern Washington. Hopefully Rolo has magic eye for talent because he's offering a lot of kids not many coaches view as worthy of a D1 scholarship.

He has no cred. He hasn't been a BCS HC. He can tell kids about the offense but that isn't the same as showing them. The DC has no name.

What Leach brought to WSU was a brand name. His brand name got them into schools and opened up conversations that other coaches just wouldn't have had.

Rolo, while I think he was probably the right guy to hire, has 0 brand name. BCS kids on the West Coast aren't following Hawaii football. He wasn't all over ESPN.

For Rolo to go out and land some guys he has to put a product on the field. He has to win some games. Until then, he and his staff really have to hustle. They just can't miss on evaluations for the first 3 classes. They have a small margin for error. They are out selling a Coke and a smile because they have nothing else to sell about their program. They can't get kids on campus. They can't schedule kids for game day visits.

Im not surprised at all that there are some kids waiting to see what's going to happen with WSU. There are probably tons of kids out there that like the guy and his staff. They just wanna see what the team looks like.

If WSU goes out and drops bombs all over the field in the first 3 games... Scoreboard lighting up... QB going crazy... Borghi running wild... Now the staff has something to talk about and SHOW kids. My guess is it will likely be a typical WSU class of 3 star kids and maybe they land a couple 4 star guys. If they stumble through the season it'll be half 3 star and half 2 star kids.
