I for one am pretty jazzed about our new alignment of coaches. Frankly, I think we go into 2018 stronger that last year, and have high hopes for the result as we sign our last few recruits.

DC Tracy Claeys - this guy's resume is fantastic. Getting beyond the Minnesota situation, where he (IMHO) is guilty of being perhaps clumsy and inexperienced in these matters, Coach is a proven commodity. Better than Grinch in all measures that matter.

Shaver - another experienced guy, coaching all facets of defense for years in a D-1 program. And a West Coast guy. This guy has a better resume than Grinch when he came in.

McBath - good for CML, promoting from within, and probably at a major $ discount from other schools (like Ohio State :D) who hired their 10th coach.

CML - The thing people need to understand is that CML goes about his business with his mouth shut and his eyes on the prize. Not sure that I have seen any comment from him about the coaching changes (coming or going). While that may not play well in the media or on the fan sites, CML is getting it done on and off the field.

The knock on his goofiness? Every one of his recent viral comments (ex: wedding advice) is a result of some reporter deliberately asking a goofy question. They love it. He is happy to reply with a goofy answer. So what?

The new comments by Tavares J-M speak volumes. CML goes about his business and keeps his mouth shut. Perhaps other coaches around the country know the moral caliber of CML and they don't want players who want to badmouth him or desert his program. Thus transfers to Dusquene (spelling), Food for thought.
