I will say, that was a fun 1st half to watch, and I liked seeing the offense click. Hopefully someday Rolo can figure out how to make it happen for 4 quarters.

That third down throw from Gabalis looked pretty good. I mean, would have been nice to actually hit someone with a chance to get a first down, but at least the throw looked OK. Better than what we saw in the cup of coffee last week. More generally, we've seen this movie before. Crowd empties out, emotion wears off, talented opponent let in the game by a score late in the first half, a BS penalty, now we're playing a walk-on QB, and so it goes.

One of the worst aspects of this pattern of collapses under Rolo is that opponents pick up on it. They know they never are out of the game, and not only know it's possible to come back, but that WSU is going to shit the bed and that they can just turn on the gas and make it happen.
