I am not a big BB fan.

I was at WSU during some of the Raveling years, the golden age of WSU basketbalI. What a class act George was and still is. Had the pleasure of meeting him during his HOF induction. Google him and watch his interviews about his WSU days. Great stuff.

I had season tickets during the Bennett years, because I loved their workmanlike, blue collar, team-based mentality. Part of why I enjoy seeing our fellow Coug Aron Baynes thrive in a similar situation in the NBA in San Antionio.

Met and liked Ken Bone, hated his philosophy and was sure that he would not thrive. Why did we not hire Ben Johnson and continue Bennett Ball. Major mistake IMHO.

Coach Kent, I like what he says, but frankly he comes off like an evangelical preacher. To be fair, no different than Tony Bennett and his 5 pillars. Can't even quote them. Something like honor, teamwork, loyalty, God, faith, blah blah chase the money you hypocrite.

Losing to Idaho is the lowest form of humiliation. I saw it in 1999 and 2000 in football. in Basketball, can you believe it? We are talking about IDAHO. Hello - redneck central.

Sincerely,

Loyal Coug

Loyal - Idaho DOMINATED us. We WATCHED them penetrate to the glass without even trying to contest a shot.

It wasn't some fluke shot and they got a last second win.

I would say that more like Railey and Hawkinson did not plug up the middle. They are the biggest cougs and are leftovers from Last year. Hawkinson shows some promise while Railey seems lost.I would surmise that a few fans are missing their man on the bench.

Hawkinson averages a double double. He is the leading rebounder and second leading scorer on the team. I get you hatw the guy Elsie, but, c'mon. Can't you direct your hate toward somebody more appropriate? Maybe somebody who can't find minutes??? Or somebody who doesn't produce when they're on the floor?
