Occasionally an east coast journalist captures some of the essence of Cougness. Usually that follows tragic events, but occasionally someone is actually on site for the sheer positive emotion of the moment during an achievement. If you take a few Apple Cups out of the equation, the only Pullman game I can really compare to this one was the Game Day stomping of the Ducks. The other two games that I'd give equal weight to were both away games; Stanford in 1971 and UCLA in 1988.
