Their biggest crowds have been in Spokane the last few years (actual butts in seats) and they’ve played pretty well. Oregon State-win, Kansas State-close loss last year. Better atmosphere than Pullnan for PAC 12 games I’ve been to the last couple of years believe it or not (though that bar is pretty low with an apathetic student body). They court Spokane to be able to put on NCAA's instead of having someone else do it. The Athletic department must make good money or something. Not sure why else they would ever play in Spokane.
Right now the CBI looks good. A couple months until we see this team. I'm always excited to see what we got.It is a schedule made to try and get the cougs into the NIT.That would be a boon to some posters and a disappointment to others. Kent is going to be here for at least two more years. I would like to see them in a postseason tournament.
It's good to be hopeful and I respect those who remain optimistic. But be honest, El C. How is the way some fans feel about Kent right now any different than what you felt about Ken Bone after 4 seasons? You wanted a coaching change at that point and EK's record is much worse going into year 5 than Bone's was. I know, realistically, that WSU can't afford to get a new coach right now, but there is that same disappointment in the program right now that you felt after 4 years of Bone. Probably more apathy, too. The only difference I can see is that even Kent's critics haven't resorted to calling him names (i.e., Bonehead.)It is a schedule made to try and get the cougs into the NIT.That would be a boon to some posters and a disappointment to others.
