Money, money, power, more power...
We all know that universities exist for the purpose of growing and sustaining their huge athletic programs, right?
On a more positive note; scroll down the feed to where the young man is singing the national anthem on the baseball field. And the jet flyby at the end was as perfectly timed as it gets...whether the plane was military or commercial, it was perfect.
As for hoops in Kentucky, it looks a lot like football in most of the SEC. We have corruption in all states, of various types. But athletic corruption in that part of the country is part of the DNA. They don't report each other for a variety of retaliation-related reasons, unless someone's behavior is so beyond the pale that it puts the rest at risk. Then, they turn on the offender with a speed and viciousness that is amazing. Sort of like that bleeding fish among the piranha. So much for Southern Hospitality.
