I've seen it rumored that the Cowboys will maneuver for the #1 pick, draft Shedeur, and hire Deion as coach.

Insane all around.

Joel Klatt had what I thought was a great take on this: deion and his style and brand basically wouldn't be allowed in the NFL. In a nutshell the NFL is very strict on apparel on the sidelines and that it must be "on brand". Apparently Kyle shanahan got in a bit of trouble from wearing the wrong hat one Sunday.

Sanders has his apparel and sunglasses and all that goes with that and makes a lot of scratch from that. The NFL wouldn't allow that.

I tend to agree with all that. College is a great fit for him where the playing field ISN'T equal. Plus he just flipped a five star recruit from USC.

Klatt also is spot-on with his criticism of the playoff format as it currently stands which is for another thread. That's all I have to say about that.

TBF after what I just saw the Bears do, nothing would surprise me. There’s some baaaad coaching at the NFL level Deion might be an upgrade.

You know, much as I want to despise Sanders, sometimes he makes it hard to do. It could be that he will prefer to stay at the college level. Mentoring these young men seems to be a real big deal to him - something you don't get in the NFL.

I'd get fined all the time. I wouldn't wear almost all the garbage NFL gear they PR up week in and week out.

I love that Bill Belichick always cut his sleeves off and didn't give a shi*t.
