Pretty in-depth article in The Athletic ($) on George Gervin. Gervin was easily my favorite player (and poster for that matter) growing up. There just wasn't anyone quite like him and his offensive game. Pretty much the coolest dude on the planet IMO but I didn't know all of the elements that went into him becoming "The Iceman".
