OT Thread #2

I don't have a personal alien story.

However, Milla Jovovich is hot and "The Fourth Kind" is about aliens.

Shrug, best I got.

Talk to any lifelong farmer in Lincoln or Whitman counties. They'll tell you, after a couple of beers, all you want to know about aliens.
And you'll be blown away.

She is hot.

Notice most Democrat/Liberal women are ugly? Many more Republican women are attractive. It's science! 😉

Maybe Ed likes ugly women? But then again, how would Ed know if she is a woman? Ha!

Yep. My ex in-laws are all Lincoln county 3-4th generation wheat and cattle people. Salt of the earth, honest as the day is long type of people. When I was dating my ex she shared a story of an incident when she was a girl. I called bullshit. Then her mom and dad one evening showed me drawings, diary entries etc.
Over the years at family events etc I heard many stories of what those guys see at night when they're out maybe calving or whatever. Especially the back roads between towns like Wilbur, Harrington and Odessa.
Their advice to me was "just ignore it Don't look."
They never go to the media with it and won't talk about it unless they know and trust you. Absolutely no reason to lie about any of it and you won't find more honest, hard working, level headed folks. Anyone who's spent time living in Eastern Washington knows the type I'm talking about.

What I want to know is why the sightings of aliens always has them described as looking like what we've seen in movies over the past 50 years or so?

Try N. Idaho and Rathdrum devil worshippers across the highway in a human chain.

Don't ask, don't tell. Just blow through it. Without a trace.

I kinda think this needs to be thread #3…need to hear more about this.

I remember that being in 70's and 80's. I haven't heard any of those stories in the last 30 yrs.
Oh hell - there are no aliens prowling around. Although those mysterious Midwest wheat field designs (WTF are they called?) always kind of freaked me out.

The farmers I've talked to have only seen the actual aliens just once. Other than that, all they've seen are ships. Low to the ground, hovering over the fields and cattle, keeping pace with cars driving at night across the countryside. But again, only one of them, my ex in laws as a matter of fact, saw them first hand. I saw the drawings and read the diary entries of that night. It's when my ex-wife was about 10 years old in Odessa.

Did the ships look at all like what we've seen in past alien genre movies? 😳

Aliens. Let’s hear it. Some of you have been abducted. Frankly, Im pissed they brought you back. Can’t wait to see what happened to mik.

Again, keep your horseshit political tranny posts out.
Well, I wasn't abducted, but I have had weird things happen multiple times on a particular stretch of road. In the Skagit Valley, there is road called the Avon Allen road, and it runs from Avon by the Skagit river north to Allen, which is right by the Samish River. About halfway up the road, it crosses Peterson Road, which is the road I grew up on. Several times at night, in at least 3 or 4 different cars, when I was driving up towards Allen, the headlights would mysteriously go out. It would last from just a second or two up to maybe ten seconds, and then they would come back on. It was always on that one particular stretch of road, never happened anywhere else. It was always a random thing, didn't happen all the time, or even often, but it did happen several times over the years.

Pretty freaky thing that made no sense. Maybe the aliens were just warning me or something. Yeah, that was a just a joke, but the experience with the headlight going off is true and I have no explanation for it.

This is what happens when bigfoot passes thru the dimensional portal.

There was a road like this in Marysville also.

It would be interesting to measure the magnetic fields in that area.

Armar Rd, between Marysville and Arlington?

If thats the one….….. eerie coincidence that I have driven both Avon Allen and Armar roads countless times.

Maybe THAT’S what happened to make me so goofy? I must have been abducted, or zapped, or something? Yeah….that’s it!

Yes, that’s the one. We would get drunk and drive up from Bellevue at 1:00 am. Freakin weird ass lights

It seems like it can’t be coincidence that a large portion of UFO stories start with some version of ‘we got drunk and…’

Just an observation.

Sammy Hagar was abducted and returned.
I had to Google that to believe the story. And as I've said I met Sammy at the Cabo airport and BS'ed with him for a half an hour. What a nice guy.

That said, you guys (and Sammy) are all nuts. There are no F-ing aliens prowling the Earth. This site needs a new name. Let's see - Coug nutcases.com? Senile Cougs.com? Way too many drugs in Coug youth.com?

The government literally came out and said there are aliens.

The US government is not the most truthful institution around

However, there is enough evidence of advanced engineering from ancient cultures to consider perhaps they had some assistance.

Great Filter Theory…there’s been a few similar theories. Basically civilizations will destroy themselves with their own technology before their technological advances are capable of interstellar travel. Looking at our own species, how far we are from interstellar travel and how close we are at any moment to wiping ourselves out, makes sense.

I subscribe to this theory…so yes there are planets with intelligent life…it’s basically mathematically impossible with all of the galaxies/solar systems we are aware of for there to not be…but no we will never visit them nor be visited by them (perhaps we have proof of other life through radio waves, etc).

Most ignorant post of the decade. That's all I have to say about that.
Two things here. Who cares what the govt says we are at a time in history where our govt is probably the least trusted it’s ever been.

I’ll trust the people with the biggest brains vs the people who can swindle the most campaign contributions, and every relevant scientist/mathematician who’s weighed in on the subject agrees there’s basically zero chance we’re the only intelligent life in the universe. That said it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s some sort of benign evidence, but I don’t think we’ve been visited nor ever will be based on the theory I mentioned above.
