You could make a good case that it is the best looking D line group since '97, particularly when you include the depth! I think we managed to platoon enough that their O line was more tired (or at least no fresher) than our D line by the end of the game. That is saying something against a running team. And the holding & chop block penalties on their O line were important; we were beating them.

Our LB's appeared to take full advantage of having such a disruptive group in front of them. They made a lot of plays.

Our D was really a joy to watch!

Henley is a stud…what a pickup that was. The D-Line is ferocious. They took some body blows with the offense struggling but never backed down and kept coming.

We’ve gotten accustomed to offensive firepower but I’m looking forward to a packed Martin stadium getting behind a defense that plays behind the opponents LOS. This is going to be fun.
