Meh. Controlling the narrative is what CEO's do. I don't blame him for that. And it's hard to differentiate the difference between him being completely blind the the fire around him, or the idea that he knows they can go public and he can't say too much. I know many CEO's that are always campy because of this very reason. Their whole life is a smile and only say positive, shallow stuff because you never know who is going to say what or forward whatever email or like this, make a request. Dumby accounts are something Scott should learn more about.my take on the emails/ article:
Its more important for Scott et al to deliver and drive a narrative then to address real issues within the conference. I mean, regardless of the relative slap on the hand that Oregon just received, the testimony against several of the schools (AZ) for just outright paying MBB players is egregious.
In other news, Yahoo asked for a received security cam footage of Scott in his high rise penthouse office:

Honestly, as much as we get concerned about officiating and all the nonsense that happened, what will do Scott in (at least eventually) is the bottom line. The bottom line ain't good. Selling the future when you're struggling at the present doesn't go very well. Add on the the highest expenses and comp while producing the smallest payout among the major conferences and everyone has to wonder where the ROI actually is. The answer is in Larry's pockets.
