In a game like that the inexperience of the young PG s stood out. The seniors like Lacy need to show the way. It is a young team and can only learn fromm the bad showing. that said ,expect the cougs to see plenty of zone defense before they prove they can shoot consistently from outside. they also need to speed up their passing as defensive players cannot move faster than the ball. it hs to do with proper spacing and confidence in attacking zone defenses.

In the last 3 games, Ernie came up with a game plan, different each time, that took advantage of the weaknesses of each team and took away their strength. Last night it happened to him. and it shouldn't have been a surprise because that was the same strategy the beavs used to beat Arizona.

Sure was. He should have come out and pressed the entire game. When you face a limited bench which OSU has then you make it very tough on them. Only way to speed things up is a full-court-press. Mixing up a variety of presses would have been a good idea.
