Good game, great series. Ironically, I thought we were the better team last season and that you were the better team today.

Good luck the rest of the way.

That obviously was a huge factor, but the offense still had to march 90 yards in a minute and a half which they did. Falk through for nearly 500 yards. Penalties helped, but this was a great win to go across the country and beat a likely bowl team in their house.

Great game guys... Your Cougs showed a lot of guts especially after what should have been a dagger punt return. Great win for you and we'll be rooting you on from here on out.

Nice win. I need to remind everyone I called it. Even the 3 point margin. :)
Are you Jason Gesser? Because at the pre-function in NYC on Thursday, Gesser predicted 37-34 Cougs. Not bad.

Rutgers faced a lot of headwinds here, with a pair of unforced turnovers, a spate of suspended players, and drive-killing penalties.

But it wasn't all tailwinds for us.

If you were at the game, you may have noticed some crazy spots going on that seemed to benefit Rutgers exclusively. I think refs ended up playing a minor role in this game, but it might have gotten out of control early with perfect spots. Didn't seem pronounced in the 2nd half, but in the first, there were a half a dozen spots where we were shorted by cumulatively 10-15 yards. I snapped this picture at the game when they "stopped" us on I think our second 4th down attempt. Note that we were in their territory; i.e., trying to make progress to the right. Look at where the first down marker is, then where the ball is. Seriously, that doesn't even get a measurement? To me it's semi-clearly a conversion, but at the very least you have to measure. Nope, turnover.
