Phil Steele experience chart ranks Cougars @ 75

It's interesting that, on the experience scale, a senior who's never played rates well above a sophomore who has.

I think this is because of S&C the theory being that 2 more years more 2 years of nutrition and weight training along with learning the position (not that I agree that a soph can't be better. It's just trying to come up with a general scale)

One thing that I noticed was that we are near the top in Starting Soph.

So of course I want to see what we look like compositionally as it stands now for 2015.

Starting line up of 22 positions 13 are upper class men and 9 are lower.
From a 2 deep perspective 23 are upper class and 21 are lower

So we are a slightly upperclass leaning roster, but definitely not by much.

Interesting facts.

Only 3 RS Seniors From the 2011 Recruiting Class made it this far. Dom Williams, Daryl Paulo, and Gunnar Eklund (Walk On)

2012 True Seniors there aren't many as many because some are RS JR.

Our retention definitely goes up but from 2011 A LOT did not make it far or have meaningful contribution. 2012 its about a 50/50 split and the 2013 class (Leach's first true class) has a very high amount of contributors.

Not Phil's strength.

?? Well, he used to rank at the top (or near it) when it came to predictions. But the way he used to evaluate experience was "returning lettermen" so a returning lettering soph would outrank a senior who had not lettered the previous year (as an example). He felt experience was best evaluated that way. Now I see that "returning lettermen" only account for 20% of his calculus....He is always tweaking, I'll give him that
