So much for the regular season
I dunno. Bigger field means more to play for even if you aren't champ. I would tweak it to be the Power 5 champs plus highest ranked Group of 5 champ with 6 at large, but that is about how it fleshes out.

This means only 7 SEC teams can be selected. Still not enough.

It's good for parity and it means something to be conference champ.

I think it also stops the non-sense that the "Power 2" will dominate how the post season landscape is shaped. NOPE. For anti-trust reasons.

Now it's pick your poison. Play in a weaker conference, get into the playoff. Play it a tougher conference, get paid more.
