Now we'll see where Cougs land in 1st CFB playoff ranking on Tuesday. From now on, that's the only poll that matters, although AP & Coaches have an influence.

Rather unfortunate, in my opinion, to see Stanford dropped out of the top 25. I realize that they have three losses including their last game but I cannot believe that anyone who actually watched that game could find 25 teams better than Furd.

If the Cardinal deserve to be in the Top 25, they'll be back soon enough. If they can beat the mutts, they could be 9-3 at the end of the season. That would get them back in the Top 25 pretty easily.

They should have an extra incentive to beat the uw. Cal beat them and it would be rather embarrassing for Furd not to be able to accomplish the same. Go Trees!
