And Patmon—when he’s using his hands to catch the ball, he’s the closet thing we have to a USC prototype (i.e., 6’5”, 210-220#) receiver.
Coming off a bye week gave Tracey Claeys an extra week of film study to put together a defensive game plan. We all saw what he did when he was with Minnesota and shut down the Cougar offense in the bowl game a few years ago. WSU is not going to shut Oregon down, but I think Claeys devises a way to slow them down a few times, more times that Oregon slows down the Cougar offense.
Jeez. From 27-0 in the first half to an effortless 7, nothing but miscommunication on the next drive, and a 20+ yard return on the kick.

Patmon's been really good this year but this was probably his best game of the year obviously capped off with the late TD to seal it. He's been a load and made a bunch of clutch catches.
That was perhaps the biggest play of the game. My thinking in why it was not reviewed was that they both had possession. While it is true that the UO player was on his back, you have to finish the catch. He didn't and Harris did. Years ago, that would have been an interception. Today, no.
Play of the night in my mind. From pick to 37 yard gain and things started to settle down from that point on. Harris did a great job finding the ball and ripping it out. Harris finished the catch.
