well, I was going for parody but I should have known better.

TBH, I have zero idea of what to expect from this team. I'm guessing 10-3 or something along those lines because by all accounts the offense is not really clicking, and I don't care who the opponent is you still have to make accurate passes and catch the ball. That being said, Borghi could put up 200+ and 4tds by himself...

I have high hopes for the defense as well. If we give up 27 like COUGinNCW predicts, that will be the proverbial canary in the coal mine.

I'm thinking more like 31-14. That's all I have to say about that.

35-20 Cougs Oh, USU with a bunch of experienced transfers might make it a little interesting, but USU hasn't won a non-home game against a power 5 team in a long time. I rechecked the USU depth chart and Merlin Olsen and Bill Munson were not on it.

I hope that's the case, but our defense gave up 42 points per game against our real competition last year. I know that COVID had everything jacked up, but if there is anything that I've learned the past two years it's that we can't depend on our defense to win games.

Who thinks this may be closer than expected. Anderson who's tackled the HC at Arkansas State actually made them relevant with a 51-37 record. He won The Cure Bowl which had me thinking that I never knew a rock group to sponsor a bowl game. I think it would be cool to win The Rolling Stones' Bowl and then they appear at half time...."If you start me up".

That is really cool because I never saw them live. I was privileged to have seen The Who and several others , but never The Stones. Got to see Pink Floyd later during the division bell tour which met all my expectations and more. I was left in tears half way through. Powerful moments!!

We get out of the game with just a few bumps and bruises, no major injuries. Lots of playing time for the #2 and #3's. The small but vocal crowd represents us well, and a good time is had by all.
